WEATHER FORECAST. FOR 24 HOUBS FROM 9 a.m 10-DAY. Wind. — Moderate to strong from between north-west and west and south at all places northward of Napier and New Plymouth; strong to gale from s&me direction elsewhere. Baiomotor.— Rise slowly northward of Napier, Taupo, and Raglan. Fall all other places. Sea. — Heowy on western coast of North I»laml and at Cape Campbell. Considerable on western coast of South Island. Moderate elsewhere. Tides. — High on , western coast of North Island ; good on western coast of South Island. Moderate all other ports. Rain is probable southward of Kapier and New Plymouth. Warning signals for northerly gales are exhibited at Capes Campbell, Farewell Spit, Foulwind, and Nugget Point. SYNOPMS OF LAST 24 HOURS. Slowly rising barometer northward of Napier and Wanganui; little movement thence to Hokitfta aad Eaikoaro, but it has continued to fall slowly elsewhere. A westerly gate has been experienced on the coast north of New Plymouth, but moderate winds from the westward in other parts of the North Wand and from the northward in the South Island. R. A. EDWIK.
