. A CONTESTED BEQUEST. FIVE MILLION POUNDS FOR COLLEGES. [PP.ESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received December 1, 8.55 a.m.) NEW YORK, 30th November. The United States Supreme Court upheld the late Mr. Daniel Fayerweather's bequest of £5,000,000 sterling to twenty American colleges. The deceased's widow and nieces contested the bequest on the ground of fraud.
