DAMAGE .TO -PROPERTY. [BI TELE-^RAFH — PBESsS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 29th November. A tologram from Dorgaville states that yesterday a strong north-east gale blew accompanied by very Heavy rain. The creeks in tho district are in flood and damage to bridges, and roads is reported. Considerable damage has been done at Kaihu. Portion of the breastwork at Trounson's mill has been carried away, and stacks of timber were carried bodily away for some distance. Fences and gar- . dens in the township were destroyed, ana one house was carried a distance of aonie yards. Several residents were compelled to leave their houses, and the township is strewn with logs and timber. The Kaihu railway line and several bridges wore considerably damaged and the approaches washed away.
