The sale by auction of the Muritai sections, held by Messrs. D. Lingard and Co. yesterday afternoon, is reported to have been most satiafaclory. Most of the lots were disposed of at prices ranging from £115 to £120 per section, while .several of those sections are said to have since changed hand« at a substantial increase in price. There are still one or two reserved sections, for which the auctioneers are piepartd to deal piivately. Messrs. Sidcy, Mcech and Co. advertise a sale of furniture^ and contents of a small store £>t their rooms to-morrow, commencing at 2 p.m. The balance ot pictures leit over from Tuesday'b sale will also bo offered. On Friday, on the premises, 65, Taranaki-street, they will cell tho wholo of the stock ot glassware, etc. Full particulars will a.-pear to-morrow. On Monday, sth December, they will hold a salo of household furnituro and effects on tho pranibes, Tinakori-road. Full particulars of this sale will also appear tomorrow night. Messrs.
