ENTERTAINMENTS, ETC.

FULLER'S ENTERTAINERS. The voc<il ie&ter, Mr. Tod Callaway, has entered on a highly popular season at His Majesty's Theatre." Last night, he and the company were reinforced with Misa Flo. Leigh and Miss Edie Burke, eerios, both of whom are highly attractive in their respective styles ; by the dainty and graceful Bertoto Sisters, who are •well-known to Wellington audiences ; and by Mr. S. Wilson, a comic, and Mr. H. Brown, a popular vocalist. Mr. Chas. Moody, the Lunnd Bros., Mr. .Harry Hart, and Kadamo contribute, with Others, to a bright and interesting programme. DIX'S GAIETY COMPANY. In addition to the mysterious Howard Bros., the 'Theatre Royal has now got • some special attractions in the shape of dancing turns by Miss Daisy Sylvester, and" a political character sketch by Mr. Percy Denton. Mr. Harry Shine, a comedian who is a host in himself, and Misses Byron, Layton, and Collins, are also on the programme, which is a very entertaining one. In our advertising columns will be found particulars of a garden party, sale of work, and concert to be held at Crofton next Saturday in aid of the Methodist Church just erected there. Until now there had not been any church at Crofton, services having been held in a large room lent for the occasion by Mr. J. Holmes. Some time ago Mr. Holmes generously presented a corner section for the purpose of a church site, and tho ladies of nearly all denominations set about raising funds to erect the chu*ch. The sale of work is the outcome of their efforts. The trains which pass Crofton at 5 and 10 p.m. will stop to pick up returning passengers. A fancy dress ball will be held by the Victoria Quadrille Assembly in Victoria Hall next Tuesday evening. Anniversary celebrations in connection with St. John's Church will be held in the Dixon-street Hall to-morrow evening.
