Weather.— D, blue sky, be .the atmosphere clear or hc&ty; C, clouds, paßSiug olotlds; D, drizzling mm; F, foggy; G, gloomy, dark weathei ; 11, hail; L, lightning; 11, niuty; 0,overcast, the whole sky covered with thick clouds; F, passing showers; Q, squally ; it, rain, continued ram; S, snow; T, thunder; U, ugly, threatening appearance. WEATHER FORECAST FOR 24 HOURB FROM 3 a.m 10-DAY. Wind. — Strong to gale from between northeast and cast and south generally. Barometer.— Fall everywhere. Sea. — Heavy on all eastern coast and on western coast between Cape Egmont and Raglan and Cape Farewell and Westpojt. Tides. — High on all taßiicrn coast and on western coast between Cape Egmont and Raglan ; also at Cape Farewell and Westport. Kain is to be expected generally. Warning . signals for easterly gales are exhibited at Capes Maria Vun Diemen, Campbell, Foulwind, Farewell Spit, and also at East Cape, Tuitiri, and Nugget Point. SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOURS. Very little movement of the barometer, but it has fallen generally.
