LAND AUCTION SALES.
The block of land known as the Bannatyne Estate, which has been subdivided into 150 sections ranging in area from oneeighth of an aero to over four and a quartor acres, is to be sold by public auction by Messrs. Mactlonald, Wilson and Co. at their Exchange Land Mart on Wednesday, 16th November, at 2.30 o'clock. The number of every allotment is conspicuously displayed upon a flag, so that visitors to the ground can at once fix tho position of any spot they may admire. Water is said to bo easily obtainable, several springs being on the cptate, while water can also be obtained at a short, distance from tho surface by sinking wells. Most of tho sections aro stated to be level, with the balance undulating;, and they adjoin tho Post Office and Telephone Bureau. The terms of sala arc fixed on a liberal basis, set out elsewhere. An illustrated descriptive plan of tho sections can be had on application to the auctioneers and the full detailed advertisement appoars in tho auction column. On tho 14th November Messrs. jtfncdonald, Wilson and Co. will also submit to auction the Township of Wallaceville (Trentham), comprising 85 sections, ranging in area from a quarter-acre to dYer half an aero each. The sections aro situato immediately opposite the Township of Wallacoville, are perfectly level, and close to tho block of land upon which the Wellington Racing Club proposes to construct a now racecourse. Tho terms of sale aro liberal, and aro slated clsewhore. The advertisement inserted to-day gives very full details, and lithographio plans can be had on application.
