Tho Council of tho City of Wellingtoi hereby makes (by Special Order) the fol lowing Bylaw under "The Municipal Cot porations Act, 1900," and under all oVhe Acts and powers enabling the Council ii that behalf lo amend the Bylaw of th said Council mado and passed on tho 23n day of May, 1898, and intituled "The Con solidated Bylaw, 1893." The above Resolution will be eubmittei for confirmation at tho Ordinary MerMni of tho Council to be held on THURS DAY, the 17th November, 1904, at 8 p.m. at tho Council Chambers, Brandon-strcel Wellington, whe^n a daj;e on which th said Bylaw will come into force will b fixed. Tho object and purport of the proposei Bylaw are: — To amend clause 22 of "The Consoli dated Bylaw, 1898," by repoalinj tho word "occupier" in tho sixtj line of the eaid clause and substi tuting in lieu thereof the won •'ownor."
