(Limited) report having held their usual monthly sale at their Upper Hutt yards yesterday, when, 'there was a full entry of cattle, and competition was very keen, almost the whole yapding being disposed of. Following are prices realised: — Yearlings, £2 ss; two-year-old heifers, £2 7s 6d; two-year-old steers, £2 12s to £3 3s; springing heifers, £5 s"s ; store cows, £4 ; bulls, £2 5s to £3 ls; milking cows, £5 2s 6d to £7. Messrs. Dalgety and Co. (Limited) have received the following cablegram from London, dated 20th October:— "ButterSince the date of our last telegrim prices of Danish butter are unchanged. The London, market is very dull, partly owing to the sultriness of the weather."
