[By TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, This Day. Almost the whole of yesterday's sitting of the Hospital Commission was taken up with the cross-examination of Dr. Neil by Mr. Reed (counsel for the Hospital Board) and Dr. Collins. The cross-examinations traversed a great deal of the evidence given by Dr. Noil on Tuesday the case of the operation on Wallis White being referred to again at considerable length. This morning Dr. Neil, in giving evidence, said that while he was in the , hospital the wards were perfectly aseptic ; and he could go about his work with pleasure. Wounds healed by first intention, without any festering. In 1902" there was a, notorious wave of suppuration m the hospital.
