SUCCESSFUL SALE OF PETONE SECTIONS.

There was standing room only in Messrs Macdonald, Wilßon, and Co.'s large auction room last night when that firm offered for sale a portion of the Buick Estate, Petone, divided into fifty sections, j Every section was sold, the proceeds of the sale amounting to £8234 14s. The bidding -was spirited, and for some of the sections there was very keen competition. The sections front Bolton-street and Ade-laide-road, the front-ages ranging from 33ft to 41ft 7in, by depths varying up 'to 191ffc Bin. The following is a schedule of the sections sold : — Amount.
