LONDON, 19th October. A telegram from Kharbin states that the Russians on Monday night advanced, and expelled the Japanese from six positions, capturing six field-pieces. The Japanese the^ made a fresh stand on a strong position along a ra-nge of hills. The Russians on Tuesday stormed this fresh position, capturing sixteen fieldpieces and eight quick-firers. The fighting continues.
