GUNS COMMAND THE HARBOUR.
LONDOjN, 3rd October. Newly-mounted heavy Japanese guns now comma-nd almost the entire harbour at Port Arthur. During the recent battle the Russian warships were silent. The merchantmen in the harbour are utilised as hospital ships.
