Tho Mnlcoln, which will reach Port Chalmers on Tuesday, the 25th, In to go on to Sydney the same day via En at. Coast and Auolilaml, it, being the inlontion for her to take up the SydneyAuckland running for the summer. The Mararoa, leaving Dunedin on tho 11th Ootobcr, tranships to the Manuka at Auckland on tho 10th, and returns to Dunedin for nn overhaul. She will not resume running until tho first week in November, Tho ferry steamer Rotomnhana is to he docked at Lyttelton on Thursday next, nnd ntio will remain at tlio Southern port until tho Siturdny. Tho Mararoa will make tho Southern connection on Friday, leaving Wellington at 7.30 p.m., and the Monownl coming through a day ahead of time-table date, will bo tlio boat arriving from tho South on tho Friday morning. The depm lure of tho Truman for Nelson has been poitnoncd until noon to-morrow. OnpUkin Watson, late of tho Knonya, hna been given command of tho notokfno, and Captain Dawson, vrho has beon "noting c»j>tnln of the latter vessel, it now in charge of tlit Rosamond. Mr. P.
