ARRIVAL AT HOKITIKA^ TO-DAY'S PROCEEDINGS. (By TELEOHArn.) (From Our Special Reporter.) HOKITIKA, This Day. The Premier loft Grey mouth at 11 o'clock this morning by train for Hokitika. 110 was received at Kumnra by iv crowd and a brass bund, which played "For He's a Jolly Good Follow ' and the "Wearing of the Green" with im-mc-nsn vigour and oxhiln ratine preponderance of big drum. Mr. Scddon shook hands nil round, and then proceeded to Hokiiika, whero nn enthusiastic welcomo awuilcd him. Tho station was packod with lnslyvoicod admircrsj who.ehoored and shouted, and had to bo restrained from hoisting tho Premier on their shoulders. Ho got away with difficulty, after renewing acquaintance with a small army of "Jacks ' and "Bills" and "Jims," whoso friendship evidently dated back to tho digger days. Tho town is decorated, and great proparations havo boon mado for this afternoon's junrtion. People havo crowded in from all sides, and it is prophosicd tnat the Coast will fairly excel itself in tho matter of welcoming tho Premier. CONOR AT U LATIONS.
