THE ANGLO-FRENCH CONVENTION [rpKSS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, 23rd August. The Ministerial journuls scathingly criticise Lord Rosebery's statement*, in which ho descrilxHl the Anglo-French Treaty ns disastrous, and suggested that the transaction was more likoly to promote than prevent unfriendliness with France.
