THE MARRIAGE OF KITTY."
There was a splendid booking when the plans wero opened this morning at the Dresden for ''The Marriage of Kitty," and there seems even' prospect of tlid six performances by Mr. J. C. Williamson's now comedy company of this play being greeted by crowded houses. The company, which was personally selected by Mr. Williamson for tho purpose of producing th 3 latest sutfeesses, seems from accounts elsewhere to fill tho bill admirably. During their recent -Auckland season, one critic wrote:—"Mr. Wilfred Draycott will unhesitatingly be pronounced one of the very best high comedy actors who ban visited the colonies. Miss Rose Musgrove plays with a finish and vivacity quite astonishing in one who has so lately graduated from the easier paths of nitiMcftl comedy. Mr. Williamson made a bold experiment in giving »o important and exacting a part to so young an actrew, but hi* judgment was absolutely correct. Miss Florence Hamei and Miss Florence Le Glcrccj are bojh actresses of altogether superior ability, and with the others in the ca*t—in which there is not a weak part—combine to givfc ono of the most successful comedy performances ever witnessed in this city."
