[BT TBLKOBAPH—tRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, This Day. A No-license meeting, presided over by Mr. Fowlds, M.H.R., was held here last night. A resolution was adopted expressing sympathy with the electors of Bruoo and Newtown ia the position in \vbicb. they 'have been placed by the decision of the Privy Council. Mr." Fowlds stated that lie believed an effort would be mada during the session on beh,nlf of th« Tra<ie to get concessions, as a conditioa of the passing of legislation necessary to remove the defects in the prewsnt Act, which are responsible for the voiding of the Newtown and Bruce polls.
