During the debate on the Arbitration Act in rho Federal ITouso of Representatives an amendment was moved to exempt farm hands and dairying employees from the operations of tho Bill. The Premior (Mr. Watflou) »aid h« would oppose tho amendment by every means in hia powor. Tbe condition of farm employees— particularly thoso following the dairying industry — was appalling in tho oxtrenvc. The debate is proceeding.
