[or TKLKO»APn —r-nsss association.] PAUfEUSTON N., This Day. The most heiious lire that hits taken place for ten years broke out just beforo 3 o'clock this morning in a billiard room in the Square. The water supply va* cut off, owing to the lowneas of the reservoir, and while pressure was being got up tho flumes spread to the Clarendon Hotel, of which Mrs. Taifc is the licenseo, then to tho premises of Mr. Gascoigne (utoivkeeper), Mr. Merriman (jeweller), R. Hannah und Co. (boot and shoe shop), Mr Kavanagh (tobacconist), und to the offices of }h. West (architect), Air. Moatyard (solicitor), Mr. Hunter (Farmers' Union secieluty), Mr. Smith's j>l«ble», Mr. Coomb's saddlery,, and Mr. Wishart's engvuving establishment. All these promises were totally destroyed. Practically nothing wus saved. All the buildings were owned by Mr. J. Carroll.
