On tho date in question Nelson went to Clifford's pluco with a, knifo in his hand, and ii ft or n few words hud passed between tho puvtics Clitford brought out a gun, mid Nelson started running in a zigzag fashion. Tho pellets from tho gun struck Kelson in tho back, and after going for ronie distance he foil. He was removed fn tho hospital, but wnn not üble to appuuv at tho Comt to-day. Clitfoid was admitted to boil.
