A WEST COAttT RESpLUTION. f&T TEMtOBAFH—FBIWB ASSOCIATION,] HOKITIKA, This Day. Mr. Steve Borebam, the Labour leader, addressed a public meeting hist evening on tho evils ot prohibition. The following resolution was carried: —"That in the opinion of this meeting of Wcstland eleotors it would bo in tho interests of tho people of the colony to urge ufjon the Premier to reintroduce the Licensing Bill of last session, and that the Government and Parliament bo respectfully asked to endeavour to pass the Bill into law, especially Clauses 9 and 14."
