An American submarine has been stranded on the rocks at Currituck Bay, Norlh Carolina. Seven of the crew got ashore. The vessel is in an inaccessible position. BRITISH CRUISER ASHORE. LONDON, 4th December. The third-class crukter Flora, attached to the British Pacific Squadron, is ashore at Denman Island, Vancouver. It is feared that she will become a total wreck. Hor storn is ten foot under water. Tho beacon Was not clearly discerned, and the vessel crushed on the rocks during a fog. [Tho Flora was launched nt Pombroko in 1893. Sho has a displacement of 4360 tons, and her dimensions aro as follow : Length, 320 ft; beam, 49Aft ; draught, 19ft ; with a speed of 19.5 knots. Tho cost of building tho Flora 'was £253,783.]
