[BT TELEOBAPn— -mB9S ASSOCIATION.! OAMARU, 22nd October. An inquest wait held this morning on tho body of Cornelius Shine, aged 76 years, who died suddenly whilo driving homo on Wednesday night. The verdict was Death from N«tural Causes.

An accident with a "sloohcr" happened to Mr. G. Pcarce, of Pahautonui, yesterday by which liis left hand was almost) severed from the arm. Ho was brought in to tho Hospital, and it is satisfactory to learn that thero is every hope that he will in timo recover the uso of the injured part.
