Ballingcr and C. W. Tan-uei-j Hon. Auditors, Mcsors. J. H. H, Jack and E. Buoholz ; Handlcapper, My. 11. L. Nathan ; Starter, Jud^o, and Timekeeper, Mr. Gcorjjo Meo. T«ast aoaaoTi's trophies were presented as follows ;— Firrt-claw Yacht* : Mr. A. H. Turnbull's lorangi- (Mr. R. T. Tumbull|i trophy and Mr. J. D. M. Oeorgejons trophy) ; Mr. .Gcorgeson's Waitangi (tho MiUa trophy). Second-class Yachts : Messrs. Johnson and Blacklock s Siren (Mr. A. H. TuvubuH'B trophy, Dr. Foil's trophy, the Lovin Cup, and Mr. W. N. Johnson's trophy) ; Mj\ R. C. Renmr'i Muritai (tho Secretary's trophy). Third, class Yachts : Mr. Siever's Karnka (Mr. J. B. Speed's trophy). The Siren hue won the Lorm Cup outright. A committee was set up to correspond with tho other yacht clubs of the colony with a viow of getting a class of yachts of ono design and holding championship laces ab various ports in the colony. Tho committo of the club has decided to open the season by holding a "y-achting picnio" at Lowry Bay on Monday, 9th November. Four handk4^ races for each first, second, and third class yachts of tho club aro to be sailed befoie tho end of tho ' year, and a general handicap nice for all classes to be sailed towards the end of January as a wind-up to tho season's racing. Trophies havo been promised by Mosm-8. E. C. Mills, J. D. M. Georgeson^ R. 15. Harmnn, W. B. Missen, J. S. Swan, and R. C. Renenr. Tho question of hSTding an ocean race for tho Port Nicholson Yacht Club's flrwt and second class boats in under tho consideration of the Committee of the club.
