CLAIMS AGAINST VENEZUELA.
« FORMALLY PRESENTED BY THE POWERS. [press association.] (Received Sept. 23, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, 22nd Sept. Reuter states that the Powers have formally presented their claims against Venezuela. The total amount is fortyfour and a half million dollars (about £8,800,000), and includes: France, sixteen million (about £3,150,000), America eleven million (about £2,170,000), Great Britain two and a half million (about £450,000), and Germany one and a half million (about £250.000).
