(Received August 21, 8.47 a.m.) NEW YORK, 20th August. The lowering of the Shamrock's throat halyard block reduced her sail area, consequently her time allowance was increased to 117 sec. (Received August 21, 8.50 a.m.) NEW YORK, 20th August. Many bets have been made in New York at evens that the Shamrock wins at least one race.
