AN APOLOGY FOR RECKLESS STATEMENTS.
(Received August 21, 10.11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. In the Federal Senate the Hon. Robert Reid apologised for some strong statements he had made in a public meeting regarding Federal members, including one that some had failed to pay their debts. He said he had not the Senate in his mind when he made the speech.
