UNFORTUNATE ST. VINCENT. TPBESa ASSOCIATION 1 (Received July 23, 11.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, 22nd July. A severe earthquake has been felt throughout the Island of St. Vincent. The volcano of La Soufriere is again in a state- of eruption. SEVERE SHOCK IN NEW BRITAIN. ' (Received July 23, 10.18 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The steamer Stettin reports that a severe earthquake occurred at Matupi, in New Britain, just before she left on the 13th inst. No details are available.
