Thorndon Hack Handicap, six furlongs — Recoil 10.6, Repulse 10.5, Optimist 10.4, Sandy 10.3, Matuku 10.1, Hatley 9.12, The Guesser 9.8, Rebellious, Sir Galahad, and Cumulus 9.6, Park Shot and Sir Agnes 9.4, Lady Field and Astralasia 9.3, Commonwealth 9.2, Rapids, Fairwater, Motai, Sergius, The Romany 9.0. The first race starts at noon. SELECTIONS BY " CRACKSHOT." Onslow Handicap : Ostiak and Goldspur. Trial Plate: Hatley and Croupier. July Steeplechase : Scallyway and Nor'west. Winter Oats : Menura and Durable. Final Hurdles: Slow Tom and Waiwera. Hack and Hunters' Steeplechase: Kaloo and Kiatere. Thorndon Hack Handicap : Recoil, Repulse, and Matuku. Special trains will run to the course as follow:— From Te Aro: 10.10, 10.40, 11.25, 11.56 a.m., 1 p.m. From Wellington: 10.25, 10.55, 11.39 a.m., 12.5 and 1.15 p.m. The train leaving Te Aro at 10.40 and Wellington , at 10.55 a.m. will run right through without stoppage.
