ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION.
THE ADMIRALTY'S RELIEF SHIP. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.! LONDON, 13th July. The Admiralty has directed that the relief expedition by the Terranova, which is to set out for the Discovery in. the Antarctic, shall sail from Lyttelton, New Zealand, early in December. The ship Morning, which arrived at Lyttelton from the Antarctic last March, is to co-operate with the Terranova. - CHRISTCHURCH, 13th July. The officers of the Morning have received no information, from England relative to the statement that the Admiralty has purchased another vessel to ast as relief ship for the Discovery expedition, and are consequently unable to throw any light on the matter. The ship's company of the Morning were engaged for five years or until the return of the vessel to England, so that if she were ordered Home at once, their engagement would be terminated on her arrival.
