The Wellington Referees' Association last night discussed the "bustling" tactics of wing-forwards, and some referees expressed themselves that too much leniency was shown in respect of this offence. The opinion of the meeting was that the wings needed to be closely watched, but that the special conditions of each case required to be considered in each instance. Mr. G. C. Spencer ; three-quarters, Cleland, Barber, and E. Claridge ; five- % eighths, Bush „ and W. Roberts ; half, Heberley ; forwards, E. Wylie (captain), King, Best, Bayfield, Cody, Sw y, De Blois, and Selwood. Emeigencies — A team : Spencer, Bush, W. Roberts, and King. B team : E. Hales, Goodwin, «P. P.
