[BT TEI.EGBAPH — PHKSS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 28th" November. The Otago A. and P. Society's summer show, which lias been very Fuccefrhful, was bi ought to a clobe to-day. There was a large attendance, and though the gate takings Indicate a, slight decrease on tebb year, yet, "nith the revenue from the grandstand and other sources, the financial result-* -arc better. The gate takings totalled £459 for the two days. The weather was fiiVe, bur threatening. There wue a fine display of diaujjht horses. AY. Gaulincr's Oedrlc the Saxon won the championship, while Pxcid and Fleming's Lady Victoria secured the championship for mares. James Patrick secured a special for most points. Casket was the only thoroughbred exhibited. Hackneys and ponies were, good classes. James Patrick took the prize for tho best msunted infantry hoive. Miss Button \vo v n the jumping event. The stockriders' raca was won by J. O'Conncll. In the wood - chopping competition P. (ySujlivan was tho winner.
