£by telegbaph — own correspondent] GREYMOUTH, This Bay. The thirteen dredging companies which have reported so far for la=t week give a return of 5390z, an average of 41oz 15dwt per company. Nelson Greek gob 84oz for 120 hours. The dredge is now dipping into rich wash. The Notown dredge, which got 490z, had several stoppages. Buller junction return was 350z for 132 hours ; the flood on Friday interfering with work. Callaghan's Creek got 25oss Bdwt for 132 hours, and Commissioner's Flat 13oz for 183 hours. New Greenstone broke down immediately after starting, causing ten days' delay. Stony and Mosquito Lead, 12oz for 3 days, then stopped for repairs. The Fecjderstons dredge was floated on Saturday. The greater portion of the machineiy is erected, and work will start in three weeks, [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 17th Nov. Dredging returns: — Empire, 440z 4dwb ; Upper Waipori, 31oz ; Reliance, 20oz; Globe, 17oz 13dwl ; Wait.ihuna, lloz lOdwt ; New Royal Maori, 9oz lOdwt; Coal Creek Flat, Boz 2dwt. The Rock'.ands Beach dredge obtained 350z 2dwt gold for 183 hour.--.
