ARRIVAL AT LYTTELTON. [BT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] LYTTELTON, 16th November. The Antarctic ( »Lip Morcitj, which is to act as a relieving chip to th-d exploring ship Discovery, novr in tho Antarctic regions, arrived frcm London at 6.45 a.m. to-daj, aftsr a passage of 130 daj3. Nothing •erticiorfcLwarjr hatpsaad on the voyage, wLich was mate ?bout half under sail and half under stssiu. &io sighted tho Snares last Wednesday, and Lytteiton light at mi«toi£ht on Satuvday, and made Godley Her.d at 3.30* a.m. today. The health of the crew wa3 excellent throughout the voyage. The Morning proved herself ai .idir.irable sea boat, and arrived staunch and in goo-l order. She decks horo fer cleaning when tho Waik»to comes out of dock. The ship's cor.ipan3 r nuaib°rs twentynine. The officers are : — Captain, H. Williams Colbeck, R.N.R. ; chief officer, Mr. R. A. England; second, Mr. R. G. Evans, R.N. : third, Mr. G. Doorly, R.N.R. ; fourth, Mr. G. Mulock, R.N.R. ; chief engineer, Mr. J. D. Morrison ; surgeon, Dr. G. Davidson ; midshipmen, N. P-ppcr and M. Scaiei- : llo. SLe has an e^gine-ro&ai artiiaccr, bostswain, carpefcter, exrilr.iakers, ten A.8.5,. tLree stokers, two stewarda, r-d ceok. The vessel is comf&rtcjfa, a"d is warmed^ by fires. The men are from twenty-two to thirty-five years old, are from the merchant service, and appear a very fine lot. On the 12th inst., in lat. 48deg lmin south, long. 167deg 2£i.iin east, tho Morning sighted t£e barque Glenesk, from Newcastle to Valparaiso, all well. The Mayors of Chriatchnrch and Lytterton and the Chairman of the Harbour Board boarded the Morning soon after her arrival, ajnd welcomed Captain Col"beck to Lyttelton.
