WELLINGTON TROTTING CLUB. The Wellington Trotting Club concluded its Spring Meecing on Saturday. The club provided a. good afternoon's sport for its patrons, but the attendance was not large. Sonic of the racing tias decidftdly interesting, the preseilce^bf one or two higa-c:ais performers from the South contributing to this. The only unpleasant feature of {lie day's racing was the disqualification of Perewiti for galloping. The horse cevUinly did gallop in. patches, but ib is doubtlul whether it was sufileknt to warrant disqualification. The General wos properly diqualiflsd for a similar breach later in tfee day. St. Simon trotted two good races during the diay, and rewarded the Southern tra.iner (Piper) for his trip. Cincinatti, who won the Provincial Handicap, had' only one ticket invested on his chance, and returned the lucky holder £12 3e> ths largest dividend of H-e d' v. Ten -shilling tickets were issued on the totalisator throughout the meeuiig. li.c management AVas aga-iri creditable, and the club deserved a better attendance and large* 1 totalisator receipts.
