It was announced that a family of children who weio neglected by a drunken mother were bping removed ; also that arrangements were being made to send unruly children to a school. The usual weekly meeting of applicants for shares in tho Town and Country Cooperative Supply Federation, Ltd., was held last night in the Exchange Buildings. Between forty and fifty were prosent. Tho Organising Secretary announced that since the last week's report, twenty-three new applications had been ■ received, representing 105 shares, in addition to which fifteen applications, representing forty-ono shares, wero" handed to him in tho room.
