The Works Committeo of tho Borough Council have agreed to pay tho £750 aoked by tho County Council for tho right to purchase water from the head works at Tarutahi. Messrs. W. Fisher and G. R. Sykei were elected respectively Chan-nun and Secretary of tho Curtorton branch of the New Zenlunu Farmers' Union at a meeting yesterday.
