Death was evidently due to charcoal suf- . focation. The men come from Tauranga Creek, where they resided, on Thursday t last with a cargo of charcoal. The yacht I was observed still lying in the snme f place this morning. This raised surpicion, and on the hatches being removed . tho men -were found dead. A can containing embers was found near them. It x is evident that they lit the charcoal and went to sleep, thinking the ventilation j was sufficient.
