Lasfc month he murderously at tacked his wife and daughter, and thei committed suicide. A sudden death occurred at the Tait Hotel yesterday afternoon, the proprietor Mr. Scliofield, dropping dead. The de oeased was well known in Wellington at one time holding a lease of the Ban! Hotel. He had been under medical at tendance for some time, so no inquest m\ be held
