[PBKSS ASSOCIATIONS LONDON, 27th June, Tho following additional Coronation honours are reported: — Barons— Lieutenant-General Sir Francis Wallace Gronfoll, Governor of Malta ; Sir Franois Knoll] s, Secretary to the King. r Companion of the Bath.— LieutenantQoneral John Fletcher Owen. Sir William B^rcourt, M.P., in declining a Viscountcy, expressed appreciation of the King's kindness, but said he did not desire to quit the House of Commons. Sir Francis Grenfell sftrvvd in tho Kaffir War of 1878, and in the Zulu War of 1879. He wus afttrwnrds engaged ia tho Transvaal, and subsequently served in tho various expeditions in Egypt and the Soudan. Immediately before his appointment to Malta ho commanded tho ferltieli forces in Egypt. The reward to Sir Francis Rnollys is for perqpnal services to the King, whose Private Secretary ho has been for many years. Lieutenant-Qoncral Owen was engaged in the. Zulu War of 1879, and adds to bin services ia tho Army experience in tho colonies, having been Military Comninjviant in South Australia from 1885 to I£BB, and in Queensland from 1891 to 1894. (Received June 28, 8.34 a.m.) LONDON, 27th June. Lieut. Hedley Kirkpatriok, of the 24th Dragoon Guards, has been appointed a Companion of the Bath, and Commander G. R. S. Gaunt, of tho Royal Navy, son of Judge Gaunt) of Melbourne, a Companion of St. Michael and St. George. RUDYARD KIPLING DECLINES. (Received June 29, 8.34 a,m.) LONDON, 2*7 th June. It is understood that Mr. Rudyurd Kipling declined Coronation honours.
