FIRE AT WADLESTOWN.
The firo at Wados'.o wn, brief particulars of -which appealed in our second edition of- yesterday , broke out in a 4roomed cottage in v Janovor-street, owned by Miss Taylor, and occupied, by -uj\ Benson. Mrv P,enson came to town about 1 o'clock yesterday, leaving tbo house unoccupir.t'., H nd halt an hour or so afterwards Miv. The greater part of Mr. Tver's furniture was saved, and about i 220 will cover his loss ; the house, a nix -roomed, one, owned by Mr. Taft, of the Shrlw.g block, near Eketabuna, wa» uninv u-ed. Mr. Bonson's furniture, which v« s completoly destroyed, was insured in tho Pboeuix Office for £85, and tb.«. house in the Northern Tor £150. One, side of Shepherd's house caught alight, 7 jut iho fire was put out. In this instant • about £10 or £16 should cover the dp,Tnage, and there is an insurance o£ JP,IOO in the United Office. fChe cause of tho firo is unknown.
