A Sydney Morning Herald correspondent suggests the federation of British possessions in the Southern Pacific with tho Commonwealth as a solution of the coloured labour question and as a method of satisfying the sugar planters, who could transfer their operations to the Islands, the produce of which would have to bo admitted free. ,
