THE MIRAMAR ESTATE.
PURCHASE BY A WELLINGTON' SYNDICATE, i Negotiations were completed to-day between a local syndicate and Messrs. A. and C Crawford, owners of the Miramar estate, by " which the syndicate acquires a considerable portion of the northern end of the estate. The area purchased comprises. 525 acres, and includes the polo and football grounds, and also the part lately 'under crop. It is the intention of the syndicate to cut up the property into marketable, allotments, and this is to bo done as speedily as possible.
