In connection with the shooting affray at Kennedy Bay, Sidney George Symons, mate of the barquentine Senorita, was brought before the Court this morning ' and charged with the manslaughter of Jsmes Buries, boatswain of the vessel. Accused was reniancUß for eight days, bail being allowed in two sureties of £150 and his own bond of £250. NELSON, 26th November. The Nelson A. and P. Show opened to-day in fine weather with a fair attendance Cattle, pigs, horses and sheep are •generally very good, and the entries altogether are larger than last year.
