4 . [BY. TELEGRAPH — PB^SS ASBOCLA.TION.} ■ AUCKLAND, 4th November. During the past month the Waiotahi Gold Mining Company treated 85 tons of ore for bullion valued at £330. The Waitai Gold Mining Company, from retorting 80 tons of ore and a few pounds of picked stones, got a return of Bullion valued at £320. , DUNEDIN, 4th November. During the week ended to-day, returns have been recorded from 43 dredges, the total yield being 815oz 14dwfr 23grs, or an average of over 19oz per dredge. The only additional returns are: — Perseverance 1., 3?oz 2dwt glgrsj Waikaka, 240z lOdwt ; Perseverance 11., 230z sdwt '3grs^ Tuapeka, 21oz ldwt; Waimumu Queen, 20oz 7dwt ; Upper Waipori, 19oz Bdwt; Happy Valley, 18oz lldwt • Reliance, 18oz Odwt 6grs j Molyneujs Hydraulic, 14oz; Waikaka Queen, 12oz; Inch Valley, 12ozj Excelsior, 6oz 3dwt! REEFTON, This Day. The return from Kirwan's Reward is lOOoz amalgam, top plates only, from 190 tons! Shareholders of the Stony Creek Dredging Company, Ltd., a concern in ■which many shareholders in the Wellington district are interested, will be glad to learn that the ,new Board of Directors is advertising for offer of a suitable dredge to work the olaim.
