The Waitai Gold Mining Company, from retorting 80 tons of ore and a few pounds of picked stones, got a return of Bullion valued at £320. , DUNEDIN, 4th November. During the week ended to-day, returns have been recorded from 43 dredges, the total yield being 815oz 14dwfr 23grs, or an average of over 19oz per dredge. Shareholders of the Stony Creek Dredging Company, Ltd., a concern in ■which many shareholders in the Wellington district are interested, will be glad to learn that the ,new Board of Directors is advertising for offer of a suitable dredge to work the olaim.
