VICTORIA CROSS AWARDS.
A WELLINGTON MAN DECORATED. LONDON, 6th October. Farrier-Sergeant VV. J. Hardham, of Wellington, a member of . the Fourth New Zealand Contingent, has been awarded the Victoria Cross for conspicuous and self-sacrificing bravery during the engagement at Naauwpoort. Lieut. Bell, of Western Australia, has been awarded the Victoria Cross for bravery at Brakpan.
