THE THREATENED DESCENT ON NATAL.
BOER LOSSES IN ZULULAND. LONDON, 30th September. 1 Major-General Bruce Hamilton reports that Forts Itala and Prospect, in Zulnland, were attacked by a force of 1500 Boers, cpmmanded by General Louis Botha and Commandant Grobelaar. Nineteen of the enemy were killed, including two commandants, and numbers wounded. The Boers retired north-east.
