Mr. Glass gave a brief outline of the union's objects and platform. An effort will be made tn form a branch in Grsytown later on. MASTERTON, This Day. Mr. George Franklin, storekeeper, of Dreyerton, died yesterday, at the »?e of 38. A case was heard in the Magistrate's Court this morning, in whioh a Masterton carrior was charged With infringement of tHe heavy traffic bylaws of the Mauriceville County Council. The case i was adjourned pending the result of an ! appeal in a similar case by an .Eketahuna I carrier.
