People living at itia extreme ends of 4 Wellington, and especially the ladies, &ould be able to record their votes mthdut haying \o walk a mile -or 1 two. On, a disagreeable day, it weuia be a hard Matter for the infirm and the fair sex to get to tike booths. The residents of Polhill Gufty, Newtown. Orierital, Bay, «ad similar places should be provided Tfith booths, Otherwise it is safe to say that very maOay people will refrain from voting. — I am etc., A BUBGESS. Wellington, 13th April, 1901.
